In a major collaborative effort toward environmental sustainability, all Rotary Clubs of Baroda jointly organized the "Birds Adoption Project 2026" at the Sayaji Baug Zoo on 16th July 2026. The initiative highlights ongoing commitment to wildlife conservation and ecological balance.The event was inaugurated by the Dy Municipal Commissioner, Mr. V. M. Rajput. Leadership from Rotary District 3060 was led by DG Rtn. Nilesh Shah and First Lady Shruti Shah. The ceremony was attended by PDG, AG's, Club Presidents, Secretaries, and Rotarians alongside press and media.The RC of Baroda Jawaharnagar adopted a pheasant for Rs. 6,000, sponsored by the Club President. The club's President Rtn. Girish Dhar, Hon. Sec. Vivek Duggal, Service Chair PP Rtn. Hemang Vahia, and Rtn. Ashok Sarda & Mr Gafoor.
